Dr. Lidieth Libby

DDS

A native of Monterrey, Mexico, Dr. Libby grew up in a nurturing home with parents who were and continue to be a source of inspiration and a true model of love and of service to others. The example they set had a huge influence on Dr. Libby. Even as a young girl, she participated with her family in mission trips that took them to all corners of the country, helping people who might have otherwise fallen through the cracks.

Dr. Libby’s dad was a successful general surgeon and always encouraged his children to seek higher education. This led her to complete a DDS degree at the UANL in Monterrey, Mexico as well as a 2-year pediatric dentistry program. In search of further education and experience, she went on to complete her second pediatric dental residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center. After graduation, Dr. Libby also completed a one-year fellowship program at the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, treating patients in a hospital.

Throughout her educational experiences and hands-on training, she was blessed to have had amazing mentors who took the time to teach her much more than just pediatric dentistry, making her a well-rounded professional who not only knows how to be a dentist but also a caring physician who is truly interested in her patients.

Dr. Libby became board certified in 2001 and participates in the Renewal Certification Process annually. She is also honored to be an Oral Board Examiner for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is on staff at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, where she provides care for medically- compromised children and children with special needs.

Dr. Libby is married to “the most wonderful man in the world”. The couple is blessed to be the parents of 2 boys and a baby girl. Following in the footsteps of her parents, they love to do medical mission trips as a family and enjoy traveling as well. They are also avid football fans and look forward to the Cardinals winning a Super Bowl in their lifetime!

Dr. Libby’s life mission statement: “I exist to serve God by serving and loving others for His glory. Pediatric dentistry is an opportunity to not only do what I love as a profession but to fulfill my mission statement: to serve and love others, especially your children – my patients – and you, the parents.”
